Hrithik Roshan congratulated Tamil cinema superstar Rajinikanth as he gets conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
The actor shared his unseen monochromatic childhood picture with Rajinikanth on twitter and penned down heartfelt note along with it. “My dearest @rajinikanth Sir… Your aura and persona compliments the prestige of Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Makes me so happy to have yet another reason to celebrate YOUR legend. Lots of love and respect, as I continue to look up to your greatness”, penned the actor.
Earlier, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar made an announcement of the award taking to twitter. He tweeted, “Happy to announce #Dadasaheb Phalke award for 2019 to one of the greatest actors in history of Indian cinema Rajnikant ji. His contribution as actor, producer and screenwriter has been iconic. I thank jury @ashabhosle @SubhashGhai1 @Mohanlal @Shankar_Live #BiswajeetChatterjee.”
The legendary actor, Rajinikanth has also won Prestigious Padma Bhusan in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2016.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rajinikanth will be next seen in ‘Annatthe’ and Hrithik Roshan has Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ lined up. He will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone in the film.
