Babil Khan, son of late legendary actor Irrfan Khan, is soon going to work with director Shoojit Sircar for his upcoming project. The soon-to-be-actor Babil Khan and producer Ronnie Lahiri took to social media to share the news. Ronnie remembered late actor Irrfan and called him a legend.
Producer Ronnie Lahiri took to his Instagram account and shared a series of a picture with Babil and Shoojit Sircar. He captioned it as, “Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you, and now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is? @babil.i.k @shoojitsircar @filmsrisingsun.”
Ronnie shared the news, however, he didn’t share any details about the project, which will be produced under his and Sheel Kumar’s Rising Sun Films Production.
Babil Khan also shared the happy news with his followers on Instagram. He too shared the picture of the trio and wrote along, “Honoured to work with you legends (aye it’s a shame we didn’t take a picture together @zaynmarie).”
Shoojit Sircar film with late actor Irrfan Khan
Shoojit Sircar and late actor Irrfan Khan have worked together in 2015 in ‘Piku’. The comedy-drama movie also starred superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
Babil resumes shooting for Qala
Recently, Babil took to his official Instagram handle, to inform that he has resumed the shoot of his debut film Qala. He posted a picture on the gram on which he was seen in a plain white T-shirt as he dropped a picture from the sets of the film. He captioned the post as, “It’s shooting time.”
On the same day, he also shared a snap from his Mumbai home, before leaving for work. The picture also featured his mother, Sutapa Sikdar. “We’re off, bye-bye!” he captioned his post.
