Mumbai Police has seized a server on Wednesday from Raj Kundra’s office. Raj was arrested earlier on Monday night for allegedly creating and streaming pornographic films.

The cops have suspected that the server was used by Raj to upload pornographic content on mobile apps and other platforms. The authorities have sought the help of IT professionals to dig into the matter further.

Raj Kundra, who is the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested as a key conspirator in this case. He will be in judicial custody till July 23.

The police officials have found some WhatsApp chats and a streaming application called “Hot Shots” linked to the businessman. However, this is not the first time Raj Kundra has found himself in the middle of a controversy.

In 2013, Raj Kundra was also involved in a controversy when Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals, in which he owned a 12 percent stake, was found involved in a spot-fixing scandal. Back then, he was questioned by Delhi Police following charges against him of betting on cricket matches.

During the probe, Kundra admitted that he had placed bets on cricket matches. He further claimed that he had bet through bookie with his friend and business partner Umesh Goenka. However, he claimed that he did not fix any matches.

In 2015, Supreme Court banned Rajasthan Royals from participating for two years in the IPL, and Raj was banned for life from IPL and related activities.
