After, a Bengaluru-based influencer Hitesha Chandranee, recently alleged that a Zomato delivery boy, identified as Kamaraj, manhandled her and broke her nose. While many came out in support of the influencer, many people supported the delivery boy after knowing his side of the story. Well, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra also commented on this incident and showed her support to the delivery boy requesting Zomato India to ‘publicly report the truth’.

The ‘Ishaqzaade’ fame actress took to her Twitter and wrote, “Zomato India – PLEASE find and publicly report the truth.. If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is), PLEASE help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking .. Please let me know how I can help.. #ZomatoDeliveryGuy @zomatoin”.

She also posted a picture of the delivery boy on her Instagram story and wrote, “FIND THE TRUTHHH!! If this man has been framed for no reason, the woman who did this NEEDS to pay for his pain! F***”

After this incident, Zomato suspended the delivery boy temporarily and also released a statement wherein they revealed that they are covering his legal expenses and the influencer’s medical expenses.

A portion of the statement read, “We are in constant touch with Hitesha, covering her medical expenses, and helping her with the proceedings. “We are also in constant touch with Kamaraj, extending all possible support to make sure both sides of the story come to light and that due process is followed in the spirit of fairness.”
