In the latest development, in Raj Kundra’s porn films racket case, the Mumbai Crime Branch has now seized two accounts of State Bank India of Raj. The officials also added that crores of rupees had been deposited in these bank accounts. The officials have seized bank accounts of actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra.
Another matter that came up is that the money was being transferred to Arvind Srivastava’s, who ran the production company of Raj Kundra, with his wife Harshita, as per the latest reports. While talking to the news agency, Arvind’s father NP Srivastava stated, “In the last two years, Arvind has not come home and he sends money from time to time in the name of household expenses.” He further added that he does not know anything about Arvind’s work.
As per the reports actress, Shilpa Shetty is likely to be interrogated again by Police officials. The report also states that Mumbai Crime Branch is planning to get cloning of Shilpa’s phone and may even summon the actress again. In a statement to the news agency, Mumbai Police said, “Shilpa Shetty said that she wasn’t aware of the exact content of HotShots. She claimed that she has nothing to do with HotShots. She mentioned that erotica is different from porn and her husband Raj Kundra wasn’t involved in producing porn content: Mumbai Police Sources.”
Businessmen Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police on July 19 in connection with the production and streaming of pornographic content through mobile applications and was sent to police custody will July 23. Raj Kundra’s custody is further extended till July 27.
