Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s younger daughter and producer-stylist Rhea Kapoor and her longtime beau Karan Boolani are all set to tie the knot in a hush-hush ceremony at the Kapoors’ Juhu bungalow today, August 14, 2021. The ceremony is expected to be an intimate affair, with only the families and their close friends in attendance.
As per the sources, the ceremony is likely to be a two-three-day affair. However, a spokesperson from the Kapoor family is yet to confirm the same.
Rhea and Karan are in a relationship for the past 13 years. Karan Boolani is into direction. He has been associated with many ad commercials. Apart from this, Boolani has also assisted in films like Aisha, and Wake Up Sid produced by Rhea Kapoor.
Sonam Kapoor landed back in the bay after a year in London. Her businessman husband Anand Ahuja is also in Mumbai for the big day in the family.
A bunch of photos of decorations underway at Kapoor’s residence flooded the internet, hinting at the wedding.
In an earlier interview with a leading daily, when Karan was asked to spill the beans on his marriage plans with Rhea, he had said, “As of now, it only works for me. I am writing and doing many shows. Marriage will happen in its own time.”
