Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan will be seen in the Hindi remake of the blockbuster hit Tamil film Vikram Vedha. The film will be helmed by the director duo of the original film, Pushkar-Gayathri, starring Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan and in lead roles. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha is scheduled to release on September 30, 2022.
Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan have several upcoming films lined up. Now, the two actors are all set to collaborate for the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha.
Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the update on Saturday, on Twitter. He wrote, “HRITHIK – SAIF IN ‘VIKRAM VEDHA’ REMAKE… #HrithikRoshan and #SaifAliKhan will star in the #Hindi remake of #Tamil film #VikramVedha… Pushkar-Gayathri – the director duo of the original film – will direct the #Hindi version too… 30 Sept 2022 release.”
About Vikram Vedha
The 2017 Tamil, neo-noir action thriller movie, Vikram Vedha, was helmed by director duo Pushkar-Gayathri. The Tamil original starred Vijay Sethupathi, R Madhavan, Kathir Shraddha Srinath, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in prominent roles. The story of the film is inspired by the Indian folktale Baital Pachisi.
The film tells the story of Vikram, a police inspector who tracks down and kills Vedha, a gangster. After Vedha voluntarily surrenders himself, Vedha tells the police inspector three stories that change his perceptions of good and evil.
Talking more about the work front of Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in horror-comedy, Bhoot Police with Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez, directed by Pawan Kripalani.
On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in India’s first aerial action franchise alongside, Deepika Padukone. The film will be helmed by Siddharth Anand.
