Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra’s recent film ‘Saina’, which got released in theatres on March 26, now is all set to stream on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video from April 23. Parineeti, who is essaying the role of Saina in the film, has got lot of recognition for her fans on social media.
Talking about the film’s global digital release, Parineeti Chopra said, “I am extremely thrilled with the film having a global digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video, bringing such an inspirational story to audiences across the world.”
Adding to it further she said, “With this film, I have learnt that a biographical film comes with many challenges, my biggest challenge as an actor was to get into Saina Nehwal’s shoes, literally and figuratively, to stay true to the story and recreate her accomplishments and hardships. As an actor, I embraced each challenge, and I do think that I learnt a lot as a professional in the process. I worked on the physical appearance and the right body language, and I am glad it worked out in my favour. I had a great time working on this film.”
Amole Gupte, writer-director of the film hoped that this film brings in some kind of positivity and said, “Most excited that the world can now access Saina. They have been waiting patiently for the film to enter their homes and in these difficult times, I hope the film brings positivity and optimism to the viewers.”
The movie Saina is a biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal . The film is directed and written by Amole Gupte and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jayraj and Rajesh Shah. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Manav Kaul, Meghna Malik, Shubraojyoti Barat to name a few.
