Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last in June 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic after his overtime by suicide which sent shockwaves through all of India with citizens, fans and celebrities urging for a deeper investigation into the actor’s explanation for death at his Bandra flat in Mumbai.
Since that fateful Flag Day evening, to very recently, the late Kedarnath actor’s home has stayed vacant and gradually over the course of the year his family has moved the actor’s prized possessions out of the plush, luxury apartment and are trying to find tenant to occupy the house where the brilliant actor, who was last seen on the silver screen within the Bollywood remake The Fault In Our Stars titled Dil Bechara alongside newcomer Sanjana Sanghi, spent his final days.
Now after a year and a price drop, the flat has been placed on the market to be rented bent anyone who can afford the whopping tag on this stunning sea-facing apartment in suburban Mumbai.
The flat on the sixth floor of Mont Blanc Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area, where actor Sushant Singh Rajput resided and was found dead, is up for rent at Rs 4 lakh a month.
Owners of duplex flat in Mont Blanc Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra, where late actor Sushant Singh Rajput stayed and breathed his last, are trying to find a tenant.
Sushant Singh Rajput lived on the sixth floor of Mont Blanc Apartments, Joggers Park, Bandra West in Mumbai. the house where he breathed his last may be a duplex flat with a hall downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs.
Talking about Sushant Singh Rajput’s house to ETimes, a Bandra-based celebrity broker also said, “The apartment has been placed on lease, but no tenant has been found yet. thanks to the pandemic, not many of us are even doing inquiries. Some interested people that came also inquired about Sushant Singh Rajput”.
In a video for Asian Paints’ Beautiful Homes, the late actor is seen giving a tour of his home where he breathed his last. within the video he reminisces about the day he chose to require the house, sharing, “I remember once I was actually making a choice of getting this house, i used to be shooting for a movie in Budapest. and that i saw the video there and decided to urge the house.”
Within the video, Sushant also shared that his home, “is a mixture of everything, a concoction of my thoughts.”
On Flag Day last year, Sushant was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his bedroom within the Mont Blanc Apartments flat.
The actor was paying Rs 4.51 lakh per month and had rented it in December 2019. consistent with property brokers within the area, the flat has been available for rent within the marketplace for a minimum of six months now.
“The flat has been up within the marketplace for a short time now. After [the] second wave, we are witnessing a slowdown in big-ticket rentals. Also, the very fact that Sushant stayed there, has been a deterrent. a couple of Bollywood personalities trying to find [a] house were shown the flat, but they didn’t choose it. Landlords also are reluctant to rent flats to stars,” said a star property broker on anonymity.
Sushant had made a deal from December 10, 2019, to December 9, 2022. The rent Sushant was to pay was divided into three parts: For the primary year, it had been Rs 4.30 lakh per month, for second and third year it had been Rs 4.51 lakh and Rs 4.74 lakh respectively.
Sushant, along side the three ,600-sq ft flats, was given three car parks. consistent with the agreement copy, he had paid Rs 12.90 lakh for an equivalent . After Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, the house remained a part of investigations for a couple of months with various agencies visiting it regularly. The owners are now seeking a rent of about Rs 4 lakh per month for the flat.
Sushant had rented this house for 36 months and was intent to remain there till December 2022. He lived within the plush apartment with Rhea Chakraborty and Siddharth Pithani and also two house helpers named Neeraj and Keshav also lived at his house. On Flag Day , 2020, Sushant was found hanging in his room within the same house and it had been later acknowledged that he had gave up the ghost from suicide.
