Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal tested negative for the novel corona virus on Friday. The actor shared a sunkissed picture of himself as he had recovered from the deadly virus on social media and announced the same.
Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram handle and shared his picture and simply captioned it as, “Negative!”
He also shared a story on his Instagram account, which was read as, “Tested negative today. Thank you for your lovely wishes and messages. My prayers for all who are recovering. Stay safe!”
The Raazi actor was tested positive earlier this month and had shared the same with his fans and well wishers. He wrote, “In Spite of all care and precautions unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe.”
The actor was busy shooting with the lead actress of the film Bhumi Pednekar for their upcoming film ‘Mr Lele’ when he was tested positive. Later that day, Bhumi also revealed that she has also tested covid positive.
On the professional front, Vicky has the upcoming biographical release of Sardar Udham Singh. In the film, he will be seen essaying the role freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino works.
Apart from this, Vicky Kaushal also has a film based on war hero Sam Manekshaw. The film is titled as ‘Sam Bahadur’ and is directed by Meghna Gulzar. In the film, Vicky will play the protagonist and the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. He also has movies like, The Immortal Ashwathama and Takht in the pipeline.
