Fardeen Khan, who hasn’t been on television in a long time, made news last year when he was sighted outside casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s Mumbai office. According to reports, he will make his comeback in Sanjay Gupta’s thriller Visfot, which also stars Riteish Deshmukh. According to recent rumors, Gupta has finalized the whole cast and crew and is planning to start shooting the film in Mumbai mid-next month.

Visfot, directed by Sanjay Gupta, has been in the works for three years and has seen many changes in the director’s post. Atul Sabharwal was scheduled to helm the film at first. Sabharwal, on the other hand, did not work out, and Nadeem Shah was brought on board. He, too, dropped out of the picture for unclear reasons. When Fardeen Khan joined the team, Samit Kakkad was appointed as the director. Kakkad, on the other hand, is no longer involved with the project and has been replaced by Kookie Gulati, who is thought to have been brought on board when T-Series entered the picture. Gulati is now working on a thriller for T-Series starring R Madhavan and Khushali Kumar.

According to reports, Khan will portray a cab driver and an ex-drug dealer, while Deshmukh would portray a commercial aircraft pilot. The plot of the film is supposed to focus around what happens after Khan’s character kidnaps Deshmukh’s son by mistake. The film is claimed to be a remake of the Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
