BTS: Jimin’s buddy Ha Sung Woon, who performed Our Blues with You with him, has revealed how the singer consented to be a part of his first K-drama OST. Jimin was first hesitant to sing the song. Here’s why he eventually accepted.

BTS member Jimin accepted to be a part of With You, his K-drama OST debut for Our Blues, according to former HOTSHOT and Wanna One member Ha Sung Woon. The song featured Jimin and Ha Sung Woon, and the duet was released in April.

Ha Sung Woon was asked about his partnership with Jimin on social media. “Story on how I came to do the duet with Jimin,” Ha Sung Woon remarked, according to Jimin’s Twitter fan account. Actually, I was working on a duet with Punch noona for Our Blues (sister). The production team has requested that I speak with Jimin about it.”

He continued, “Since the other members were also making OSTs, I phoned him just in case he wanted to do one but hadn’t had the chance. He didn’t appear interested in doing OSTs at first, but then questioned, “But am I doing it with you, hyung (older brother)?” I declined. ‘I want to try it if I do it with you, hyung!’ he said. So I informed the production staff. That’s how we ended up enjoying working together.”

“I want to be with you and I want to remain with you, just like the stars shining brilliantly,” Jimin began the song’s lyrics. Ha Sung Woon began singing after Jimin. Both English and Korean versions of the song have been performed. “I am nothing without your love,” Jimin’s words continue, “I vow I’ll never leave your love; my heart is throbbing because of you.”

Meanwhile, Jimin is looking forward to the June 10 release of BTS’ new album Proof. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s anthology album will include both old and new songs from the members.
