In the week ending September 4, Billboard has released its World Albums list.
When TXT’s second studio album, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,” was repackaged as “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE,” it rocketed back to the top of the charts. K-pop album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” is now in its 13th week on the charts, extending its record for the longest charting K-pop album of 2021.
Also, this week, TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 8, making him only the third K-pop artist in history to spend more than a week in the top.
In the meanwhile, BTS saw six albums chart in the top 15 this week, including “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 3, “BE” at No. 6, “BTS, The Best” at No. 7, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 9, and “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 11.
This week, not only did Stray Kids’ newest studio album “NOEASY” premiere at No. 5 on Billboard’s World Albums list, but a staggering seven songs from the album also reached Billboard’s World Digital “Thunderous” by Stray Kids debuted at No. 3 and six of their B-sides followed closely behind: “Domino” debuted at No. 11, “Cheese” at No. 14, “The View” at No. 18, “Ssick” at No. 22, and “Sorry, I Love You” at No. 24. “THE ALBUM” by BLACKPINK kept steady at No. 8 in its 47th week on the World Albums list, while “Your Choice” by SEVENTEEN held steady at No. 15 in its 10th week.
