Dahaad is a Hindi crime, mystery, thriller web series created by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar. The series features Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaih and Sonam Shah in lead roles. This 8-episode drama series is all set to release on 12th May on Amazon Prime Video.
As per the trailer, Sonakshi plays the role of a lead cop, tasked with the investigation of a series of mysterious deaths in a public bathroom. 27 women have died in Rajasthan under mysterious circumstances. Sonakshi adds about her role, “I think I was born to play this character. I was just waiting for the character to come to me and it did. I just got into it without any hoo-haa. Honestly, when you were that uniform, aapki chaal badal jaati hai. I can’t tell you the power of that uniform. This is the first time I played a cop. I had to learn how to run a bike which I ended up loving so much.”

On the work front, Sonakshi will also be seen in the upcoming action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
