Ayushmann Khurrana, who had made his debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor, had emerged as one of the most versatile actors over the years. Now, Ayushmann is again making the headlines for yet another interesting film he is currently shooting for, we are talking about Doctor G which will also feature Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role.
Interestingly, the actor has taken to social media and shared the first look of himself from Anubhuti Kashyap’s directorial, Doctor G.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Ayushmann Khurrana surprised his fans by sharing a snap of himself wherein he can be seen dressed as a medical student. He had a nerdy look holding a medical book in his hand.
This isn’t all. He was seen sporting a lab coat and had a stethoscope in his coat’s pocket. In the caption, the actor mentioned that he is all set to start the shooting of the film. He wrote, “Doctor G taiyyar ho kar nikle hain. Ab hogi shooting! #DoctorGFirstLook”.
Doctor G is bankrolled by Junglee Picture, the film marks Ayushmann’s third collaboration with the production house after their successful movies that include Bareilly ki Barfi and Badhaai Ho.
Doctor G is a campus comedy-drama, wherein Ayushmann will be essaying Dr Uday Gupta and Rakul will be playing Dr Fatima, a medical student who plays Ayushmann’s senior in the movie. The film will also feature Shefali Shah will be portraying a role of a senior doctor, Dr Nandini in the forthcoming film.
