Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ is riding high on success. It has been the Top-rated show for quite sometime now. The USP of the show is that apart from the lead actors, almost every character is well-defined and has a fanbase of their own. The show has given fame to the entire star cast of the show.
In the previous track, Anupamaa gave an earful to Pakhi for ordering excess food for herself and her friends from Leela’s Café and wasting the same. Anupamaa tries to make her understand about the value of food and money. Pakhi takes it otherwise as Kavya has manipulated her to think that Anupamaa doesn’t love her enough. Pakhi reacted differently and also offered to pay to his father as she ordered food from his café.
India Forums got in touch with Muskaan Bamne who plays the character of Pakhi in the show and asked her about her views on performing such heavy scenes, she said, “It’s quite weird. I mean, to know that how a kid can behave so rudely with elders. Being rude to her mother Anupamaa, paying money to her father, misbehaving with Baa, it very weird when I read the script and when I perform the same. It amazes me how difficult can today’s kids get. Personally, I can’t even think of behaving like Pakhi in real life ever”.
Talking about feedback for her role, Muskan said, “Well, I receive negative feedback. There are people who tell me how wrong Pakhi is and that she should value Anupamaa and not be with Kavya. There are people messaging me and telling me that I don’t have manners. I take the feedback in positive stride because as an actor, I’m able to evoke the same response from the viewers that was expected by the makers. So, I feel I do a decent job by irking the viewers”.
