Very often in life, we all feel stuck, low on energy, full of fear and are continuously in this loop. Without realizing, this negativity pulls us low and the emptiness grows. These are minor changes that will help small, daily victories.
- NO NEGATIVE SELF-TALK
I think, we are our worst and first critics. How often do we tell ourselves, “I am not good enough/ I can’t do it.” This is like throwing mud on a clean, polished mirror. More the mud, dimmer the vision, so let’s replace all negative thoughts with, “I am work in progress/ I am great/ I am getting there.”
- OVERTHINKING
Do you ever find your mind in a constant chatter that causes clutter. Overthinking steals your peace of mind and prevents us from taking any action. It’s like being in shackles. Try taking baby steps, meditate, quieten the mind and make a small plan.
- ALWAYS SAYING “YES”
Often, we aim to please others. We haven’t learnt the art of saying NO. However, with this habit, you’re trying to be everywhere, even places you don’t wish to be. This causes fatigue and it’s a never-ending trap. Spend time on things that matter and make you happy.
- AVOIDING TOUGH CONVERSATIONS
Sometimes, we hope things will just sort themselves out and we don’t want to bell the cat. Whether it’s a relationship or work-related matter but dodging these talks make us resentful and cause stress. I have decided to face my challenges head on, it must hurt yet there’ll be clarity. Speak your mind clearly, calmly and once you’ve addressed the issues, slowly but surely the solution will present itself.
Happy living! Life is here and NOW!
