As the Ganpati festival approaches, a sense of excitement fills the air, with households bustling in joyful preparation to welcome the beloved deity into their homes. It is a time of vibrant celebrations and spiritual devotion. Popular television artists are all set to welcome Bappa home and share their heartfelt feelings, love, and dedication to the deity to bestow prosperity and good fortune. These include Neha Joshi (Yashoda, Doosri Maa), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Rohitashv Gour (Manmohan Tiwari, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Neha Joshi, aka Yashoda from Doosri Maa, shares, “Every year, Ganpati Bappa graces our ancestral home with his presence, a day of immense importance that unites our entire family. However, my parents and I recently introduced a tradition of welcoming Bappa into our Nashik residence for a half day. The preparations for this special occasion began a fortnight ago, with my father overseeing the creative aspects and my mother taking charge of the kitchen. Today, we all rose early to perform the prati sthapna and morning aarti. Our guests are starting to arrive, and as tradition dictates, we will be hosting approximately 100-150 relatives and friends. We diligently prepare traditional Marathi cuisine for Bappa and our esteemed guests. My heart brims with anticipation and joy. My sincere prayer to Ganpati Bappa is for the ongoing well-being and happiness. Wishing everyone a blissful Ganesh Chaturthi!”

Geetanjali Mishra, Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “Ganesh Chaturthi, an eagerly awaited festival, is a yearly tradition for us. This year marks my fourth in welcoming Lord Ganesh into my home, and I am delighted to celebrate with my new Happu Ki Ultan Paltan family. I will be dressed in traditional attire, welcoming Bappa with the lively beats of dhol tasha. My idol is a bit taller than last year, and I have prepared a variety of modaks and laddoos as offerings. Our pandal is elegantly simple and eco-friendly. What I treasure most is this festival’s warmth and togetherness, seeing joy on faces and feeling the positive energy. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”. Rohitashv Gour, Manmohan Tiwari from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Ganpati Bappa fills our home with boundless joy and positivity—my unwavering excitement peaks as I gaze at the divine Lord Ganesha idol. We’ve meticulously planned for the past ten days. My daughter brought Bappa home this year, allowing me to focus on my commitments, shooting Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. I’m grateful my children have unwavering faith and handle worship with devotion. We performed the sthapna aarti this morning, and my wife prepared the chappan bhog. Our tradition includes offerings of durva, modak, jaggery, coconut, red flowers, red sandalwood, and camphor. My home is graced by family and friends seeking Bappa’s darshan and serving Him brings unique joy. I attribute everything to Bappa’s blessings, praying for the health and happiness of my loved ones.”
