On March 31, Dulquer Salmaan’s next Tamil romance comedy will be available on OTT. Brinda Master, a choreographer-turned-director, will direct the film, which will be available on Netflix and Jio Cinema.
The female leads in the film are Kajal Agarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari. According to sources, the picture will be released once it has had a significant run-in theatre. It was released internationally on March 3rd.
Director Brinda made the announcement on Twitter. While the director had previously said that the film will be published on Netflix, she later retweeted multiple tweets claiming that the film would also be accessible on Jio Cinema on the same day.
The title of the film is inspired by a song from Dulquer Salmaan’s 2015 film ‘O Kadhal Kanmani,’ directed by Mani Ratnam. Govind Vasantha, a well-known musician, composed the music for the film. Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film were released. Despite receiving great reviews, the film flopped at the box office.
Mouna (Aditi), a weather scientist, falls in love with Yaazhan (Dulquer), a funny and kind person, in the film ‘Hey Sinamika.’ The film follows their friendship across the years till Malarvazhi (Kajal) comes.
Dulquer Salmaan will next be seen in R Balki’s Bollywood film ‘Chup: Revenge of The Artist,’ which marks his comeback to Hindi cinema following the romantic comedy ‘The Zoya Factor,’ which he starred in in 2019.
