Actress Hiba Nawab whom we have seen in shows like Tere Sheher Mein, Jijaji Chhat Par Hain will be the leading lady in Rajan Shahi’s new untitled show. Interestingly Hiba had started her journey with Rajan Shahi 7 years back. Speaking about her latest association with Shahi she says,”I am really excited and overwhelmed to let my fans and audience know that soon I will be collaborating with Rajan Shahi Sir.
We have already met and he narrated the story of the new show. I can’t reveal much but all I can say is that it is a performance-based role and the character is something which I haven’t done before. I have been doing a different genre, comedy, for the past 3-4 years so I just feel this is an opportunity where I can really reinvent myself . As an actor, I will get to learn so much. I can’t thank Rajan Ji enough for believing in me again. and give me this opportunity.” She also adds,”My first big break was given by Rajan ji. Seven years ago, I did a show with him called Tere Shehar Me and it was a wonderful experience. After seven years it feels like coming back home.
But honestly I am nervous. We would be starting with the workshops and polishing the character and everything possible to entertain our audience and I can’t wait for it. I would like to say that Rajan Ji is not only a great producer but as a human being he is really amazing. The first time we had a conversation, he made me feel so comfortable as I was really very young. After 7 years I can feel the same warmth, and I can’t wait to go to the set. Even my parents are extremely happy that I am going to be the lead of Rajan Shahi’s show. Because It was Rajan Shahi who convinced me 7 years back and his convictions brought me here in Mumbai from Bareilly.” Hiba also feels as an actor one should keep trying various things.
