A video of a TikTok user molesting a wild elephant in Sri Lanka has gone viral, igniting outrage among social media users.
This video is proof that the internet has its fair share of unsettling information. On the internet, a video of a guy abusing a wild elephant on the road has gone viral. The event occurred in Sri Lanka, and it has enraged internet users.
Poorna Seneviratne, a Twitter user, posted the now-viral video. It was first posted on TikTok. TikTok user @shashikagimhandha can be seen chasing away a wild elephant with his automobile in the brief video. The man was travelling on an empty road at night when he came upon the wild animal. He purposefully pursued the hapless elephant with his automobile and videotaped the entire incident.
The poor elephant was plainly frightened and attempted to retreat. It attempted to hide behind a tree as well.
“You need to be completely annihilated if you don’t have an ounce of intelligence to not see that this is really nasty and terrible.” DO NOT harm or disturb wildlife because of irrational social media opinions. This isn’t cool.
The handling of the wild elephant outraged internet users, who expressed their displeasure in the comments area.
“Gosh, this enraged me!” “The arrogance to put wildlife in peril and create a film out of it for likes,” one person said.
“Sad thing,” another user said, “there are individuals that praise this type of heinous behavior.”
The Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka was also drawn to the video. They stated that the Department of Wildlife Conservation has been notified of the troubling event and would take appropriate measures.
