The lead protagonist, Ko Moon-yeong is not your typical female lead. She is no damsel in distress.

Ko Moon-yeong suffers from antisocial personality disorder and is an accomplished children’s book author.

Even with her lack of empathy towards others, she is a refreshing character. And also the way she goes behind Moon Gang-tae and her fascination towards sharp objects is engrossing.

Moon Gang-tae, the male lead character of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay is another reason to give the show a go.

Filled with empathy as he treats everyone with kindness, he will steal your heart.

Also his interactions with his elder brother Moon Sang-tae warm the viewer’s hearts like no other.

Moon Sang-tae is another character why you must watch the show. He is autistic and an aspiring illustrator.

He is adorable and one cannot help but love him. The way Autism has been dealt with in the show clearing the misconceptions is clap worthy.

Moon Sang-tae cuteness, Ko Moon-yeong cheekiness and Moon Gang-tae seriousness all put together make the show a must watch.
