Teej marks the union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Its that time of the year when women adorn themselves with flowers, mehndi, beautiful vibrant clothes and some even fast for their husbands.
Teej parties at this time of the year are very popular and I am going to share a few exquisite face masks for that glow to make you look more beautiful this festive season. Here are some masks you can easily make at home;
- FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN-
Take 1tbsp honey and ½ tsp of diluted lemon juice. Apply it evenly on your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash off and pat skin dry. This will surely help treat the acne. Use a sunscreen before going out.
- OATMEAL AND CUCUMBER MASK
Cucumber provides hydration and oatmeal is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties that calm the skin. Also, this pack removes dead skin. Keep it on for 20 minutes before rinsing.
- EGG WHITE AND LEMON MASK
Egg white is tremendous for tightening the skin and reducing pores while lemon reduces dark spots. Apply for 15 minutes and then rinse.
- GRAM FLOUR AND ROSE WATER
Combine gram flour, rose water, a pinch of turmeric and a drop of lemon juice. Keep it on for 15 minutes and rinse off.
- SANDALWOOD FACE MASK
Combine sandalwood powder, turmeric and few drops of rose water and make a thick paste. Apply evenly and wash off once dry.
Try these for a smooth, healthy and glowing skin.
