IU is one of the kindest and talented K-pop idols in the Korean Entertainment industry. She has always been in the news for being kind towards her fans, the needy, and peers. However, she held her 2019 IU Tour Concert Love, Poem in Gwangju. In this beautiful concert, she revealed that it took her 12 years to get her dream microphone.
Between her stunning performances, she bragged and brought focus to her customized black and glossy microphone. Then, she explained why it took her 12 years to get the microphone of her dreams. She said, “My dream has always been to get a black glossy microphone. It has always been my dream, but every time I went to get one, I always thought a bit of color would be nice.”
She then sarcastically said that buying the glossy black microphone is a big achievement and that she is extremely proud of herself. “You need to get rid of your materialistic ways to make this decision. It doesn’t look like you’re very impressed but ask all the other singers. This was a very impressive decision,” said IU.
Not only is this her 10th microphone but it is also a special one. She talked about how she always chose pretty and colorful microphones before that one. She wanted to have a good collection of mics before adding the black one to her list.
