James Corden has always been on good terms with BTS and the huge Army. He has had BTS as guests pretty often and every time, he has proved that he is supportive and loving. However, this time, some of his comments didn’t land right.
The Late Late Show With James Corden aired recently and James opened with, “The UN General Assembly kicked off this morning in New York City. And it started with some pretty unusual visitors: BTS was there, BTS visited the UN.” Fans didn’t like the statement because BTS actually gave a very meaningful speech that encouraged a lot of people and supported them. The introduction that James gave didn’t credit BTS enough.
He then continued, “The world leaders have no choice but to take BTS seriously. At the end of the day, BTS has one of the largest ARMYs on planet Earth. A historic moment, it actually marks the first time 15-year-old girls everywhere found themselves wishing they were Secretary-General Guterres.”
The army didn’t like this too and soon after, the video clip was taken down.
