Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh to lead for SonyLIV’s upcoming original, titled, ‘Rocket Boys’

SonyLIV’s is soon coming up with its new web series titled, Rocket Boys, which is dramatised retelling of the lives of India’s brightest nuclear physicists. The story will be based on the narration of Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai and their journey towards achieving greater success. The story revolves around these two great thinkers that have the ability to turn dream into reality and mark their names in the writing pages of history through their greatness and success.

The makers of the show are Nikkhil Advani and helmed by Abhay Pannu. The makers on Tuesday also announced about the lead characters of the show Jim Sarbh that will be characterizing as Homi J Bhabha, while Ishwak Singh will potray the role Vikram A Sarabhai. The Story will take us back in time, where will get to understand their ideology and greatness.

Jim spoke about his role and stated “In these strange times the relevance of science, scientific research, and innovative, possibly life-saving technology becomes startlingly clear. ‘Rocket Boys’ is about Vikram Sarabhai and Homi Bhabha, icons in Indian scientific history. I hope their story continues to inspire generations of scientists, researchers, and innovators.

Speaking about the portraying the character of Vikram Sarabai, actor Ishwak Singh stated that, “It’s not often that one gets to play a real-life character like Vikram Sarabhai. I was drawn to the concept not just as an artiste, but as an Indian who takes immense pride in the legacy of these iconic scientists. ‘Rocket Boys’ marks my second stint with Nikkhil Advani, and I am grateful that the team chose me for this role.”

The web series ‘Rocket Boys’ will be produced by Siddharth Roy KapurMonisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani. The series will takes us back in era and embarked us on paths that led the way for some of the greatest scientific discoveries.
