Kareena Kapoor marked her debut in the film industry with Abhishek Bachchan in the movie ‘Refugee.’ In May 2000, Kareena had talked about her friendship with Abhishek Bachchan and her opinion on his acting skills.
Kareena had stated, “As an actor, he is better, at least I find him a thousand-fold better… His father Amitabh Bachchan was the best, but he is going to be better than the best. I am sure about it. As a person, he is wonderful, he is one of my closest friends.”
Talking about their on-screen chemistry, “It was a romantic scene between Abhishek and me. We were very comfortable from day one because he is a part of my family and a close friend of mine. The chemistry was there from the word go.”
In the early 2000, it was believed that Karishma Kapoor would marry Abhishek Bachchan. However, fate had something different in store for them. While Abhishek married Aishwarya in 2007, Karishma, wedded Sanjay Kapur.
