The hit Sandalwood film KGF: Chapter 2, which is currently doing well at the box office, will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video’s Over-the-Top (OTT) platform. The streaming site said that the film would be distributed as part of Amazon Prime Video’s Movie Rentals, which will allow audiences — both Prime and non-Prime members — to rent the film for Rs 199. KGF 2 will be available to rent in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, among other languages.
The streaming service revealed that the Movie Rentals Feature on Amazon Prime Video allows subscribers to obtain early access to movies. “K.G. F: Chapter 2 will be available to rent on Prime Video for INR 199. The STORE tab of primevideo.com and the Prime Video app on Android smartphones, smart TVs, linked STBs, and Fire TV sticks provide access to the rental destination. Once playback begins, customers have a 48-hour timeframe to finish the video. Customers can begin watching the video within 30 days of the transaction date, according to Amazon Prime Video.
Rocky, played by Yash, is the protagonist of KGF: Chapter 2, a sequel to the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1. The sequel, which was launched on April 14 this year after encountering multiple setbacks owing to the COVID-19 epidemic, continues to be a huge hit at the box office, with worldwide box office projections of over Rs 550 crore. Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Easwari Rao, Achyuth Kumar, and Archana Jois, among others, play significant parts in the film. K.G.F: Chapter 2 is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel.
