Yet another controversy which was folded in 2018 has resurfaced recently. In 2018, Kim Jung Hyun was working on the drama ‘Time’ and his behaviour was labelled rude and cold by various staff members. Not only this, the director, producer and writer of ‘Time’ were supposedly overworked as Kim Jung Hyun refused to act in scenes containing skinship or romance.
Recently, some personal chats were released to the public and it showed the reason for Kim Jung Hyun’s cold behaviour. At that time, Kim was dating the ‘It’s Okay to not be Okay’ star, Seo Ye Ji . The chats revealed that Seo Ye Ji had asked Kim Jung Hyun to not carry out any scenes which included skinship and not only that, she had also asked him to not talk or maintain contact with the female stars /staff. This has helped fans to understand his situation during that period.
Reacting to this, Seo Ye Ji’s agency has released an official statement. The statement says that the chats which were realised were personal and one sided. It says that it was not just Seo Ye Ji who was jealous and tried to control Kim Jung Hyun but it was also the other way around.
Fans are showing their support for Kim Jung Hyun by asking Seo Ye Ji to apologise.
