Five ways to get over your Toxic Break-up

All of us have been through bad break ups, whenever we talk about break-up something that people would suggest us is to move on, and I understand it is not easy as it sounds, but trust me it’s not that difficult as well. Basically it differs from person to person, some break up can be tough to deal with while our can easy going. Break-up can destroy you as a person.

Broken hearts often tear apart easily, getting away from a person becomes harder when your partner choose to have break-up, and you never imagined your life without your partner. All you need to do is have a strong mindset and love yourself no matter what comes across. When you can’t stop thinking about your partner because you are so habitual towards them, in such case how can you move on without existing in your life?

Well, here as five ways that might help you cope up with your bad break up problem.

1)        Accept the reality

I understand that it is hard to realize and accept that the person you loved so much broke your heart. But first thing first you have to accept it, that not all love stories have happy ending. Accept the present and plan something for a better future. Don’t keep asking yourself why he/ she break-up with you or why you guys aren’t together. Remember one thing if your partner loves you then he/ she would have done anything to stay with you and if you guys aren’t together then the answer is very clear it’s time you move on and get yourself a life.

2)        Let your ex go

You ex have broken up with you, and now it’s high time you let your partner go away. Firstly stop talking to your partner because I would not suggest friendship after bad break-up. Talking to your partner post break up will lead to feelings and that could lead to drunk dial and regrets as well. Your partner will keep running in your mind all the time and that could tear you apart.

3)      Write all the negative qualities

Sometimes during the bad phase of your break-up, your mind takes you back to all the good times you guys had together, and the way you guys smiled and had great memories together. Whenever something similar happens to you start writing all the negative points that your partner had. Maybe those good memories were good because of your extra effort for creating a good one. Write down all the negative points like made you wait, did not answer your phone call, lied to you, and did not talk to you and the main one he/she broke-up with you. This negative points would clear your partner’s picture in your mind and help you to move on.

4)      Talk about your Breakup

Try talking about your Breakup so that you don’t feel heavy hearted. The more you will keep it to yourself the more you will be crying from inside. You can talk about it to your friends, family, strangers or therapist. If you are someone that does not share problems with friends then, I would suggest you should talk about this to strangers or therapist because they would not judge you. You will find random strangers on social media, listening apps or dating apps. They would hear you out, and you don’t have to worry being judged. In fact, they would give you best piece of advice.

5)      Make new plans

After the toxic break-up, it’s time to make new plans. You can plan a good holiday with your family or friends or get into a new hobby like dancing, trekking, music anything you like. You can also join classes that relates with your hobby so that you invest your precious time in something relevant, rather than crying over a person that broke your heart. Your mind always get diversified over new things. You can also plan a night in a club or call your friends over. Meet new people go on new dates. Explore yourself because you never know, may be this break up was the reason of new and better beginnings of your life.
