Haute Couture Week in Paris showcases the most exclusive clothing in existence made using highly skilled tailors, special fabrics with beautiful details. One haute couture dress may contain as many as 2000 hours of hand work and can cost anywhere between US $ 10,000 to US $ 150,000 and beyond! These dynamic girls representing our nation and state attended the show in full HINDUSTANI spirit adorned in beautiful Indian handloom dresses and sarees. The designers exhibiting at the event include eminent labels such as DIOR, Schiaparelli, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Julien Fournie, Stephane Rolland etc all.
Along with a proud list of Indian designers such as Rahul Mishra, Vaishali S. , Gaurav Gupta.
On asked, how did they make it to this moment, they replied, ‘’ It all started with a dream about 2 years back when they saw one of the first Indian origin influencers Masoom Minawala make it to the International fashion scene. That’s when they knew what was next in their professional journey. They add on, ‘’Being from a small town always meant they had to work extra hard, as all big brands and PR companies were hundreds of kms away in Metro cities. A year of travel, constant self evaluation, consistency and most importantly undeniable support from their families is what that has brought him here.’’
