Roman Sahradyan, an Armenian native, set a Guinness World Record by doing 23 pull-ups in a minute while dangling from a helicopter’s landing skid. The video of the achievement, which Guinness posted on Instagram, has gone viral.

Sahradyan has a lot of records. He set records for ‘most consecutive gymnastic high bar giants with 1,001 spins, as well as ‘most toe touches on a bar’ and ‘most horizontal bar back hip rotations’ – all in one minute, according to Guinness World Records.

Sahradyan commented in his LinkedIn bio about his passion for sports, saying, “I’ve always loved sports and have been active in them since I was a kid. It’s a pastime of mine.”

“This is the most incredible achievement ever,” one user said, while the majority admitting they had no idea such a category existed. The achievement was even questioned by user @derpyismlg, who questioned whether it was really a record.

As Sahradyan resumed his pull-ups, another user, Keagan Vang, praised the pilot’s ability to keep the helicopter stable.

While some claimed that 23 is a little number and that they can “defeat him easy.” “I bet a lot of people can break this record,” user @ten sharps speculated. Some people also said that accomplishing it on a moving chopper rather on a stationary bar must have been extremely difficult.

More than one lakh people have liked the video.
