Mandira Bedi shared a heartbreaking note on social media to mark the 23rd wedding anniversary after the sudden demise of her husband filmmaker Raj Kaushal. The actress fondly remembered the 25 years they had spent together. To mark her 23rd wedding anniversary today, Mandira took to Instagram and posted a set of pictures, wherein the couple can be seen happily posing.
“25 years of knowing each other. 23 years of marriage.. through all the struggle.. through every crest and trough..” Mandira captioned the post.
Many of her fans, followers along fellow celebrities including Arjun Bijlani, Huma Qureshi, Armaan Malik, Rhea Chakraborty dropped heart emojis in the comments section.
On Wednesday, Mandira posted a handwritten note on her Instagram handle that read, “Miss you Raji…”, she further captioned the photo adding a broken heart emoji.
Raj Kaushal, who had directed films like Shaadi Ke Laddoo’, and ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ died on June 30 after suffering a massive cardiac attack.
After Raj’s demise, Mandira deleted her Instagram profile icon and replaced it with a black screen as a sign of mourning.
She then posted a few snaps on Instagram where she can be seen happily posing with glasses of wine with Raj, both of them smiling at the camera. In the caption, she only used a heartbroken emoji instead.
Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal got married in 1999. They have two children, son Vir and daughter Tara.
Raj and Mandira’s friends, followers, and colleagues mourned his untimely death on social media and expressed condolences.
