Yash Raj Films aims to produce some of the best content for digital platform in India. Under the YRF entertainment banner, the company announces its second OTT show, a crime thriller with Vaani Kapoor as the lead along with Vaibhav Raj Gupta. Created and directed by Gopi Puthran, this show will be a nail-biting series.
The show will be shot in Uttar Pradesh and then the team will head to Delhi and Mumbai. YRF Entertainment entered the OTT sphere with ‘The Railway Men.’ The show is the deadly saga of the workers who worked at the railway station of Bhopal and saved thousand of lives on the night of the Bhopal gas tragedy in 1984.
Vaani Kapoor rose to fame for her brilliant work as a transgender girl in Abhishek Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and is all set to make her OTT debut. Vaani took to Instagram and wrote, “Going in for the KILL (literally) for my debut OTT show! Thrilled to be helming @yrfentertainment’s new series #MandalaMurders- a gritty crime thriller that will keep you guessing!”
Surveen Chawla and Jameel Khan also share prominent roles in the series.
