Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film actress Nivetha Thomas has been tested covid-19 positive on Sunday. The actress is following the protocols and has urged everyone to wear mask. She was recently spotted in Hyderabad in the event for Vakeel Saab promotions. 

“Hi everyone, I have tested positive for COVID-19 and have isolated myself, adhering to all medical protocols and look forward to making a complete recovery. I want to thank everyone for their support and love and in particular thank my medical team that has ensured the best care. Please be safe, wear a mask.” the actress wrote on social media.

She has an upcoming release of legal drama film Vakeel Saab. The movie is directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju and is a remake of Hindi film Pink. In the film, Nivetha will be seen as Vemula Pallavi, playing the character of Taapsee Pannu. The film also features Pawan Kalyan, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj. The movie is slated to release on April 9, 2021. 

Nivetha Thomas was last seen in the film V and is known for films like Ninnu Kori, Gentleman, Brochevarevarura and Darbar.
