For now, the movie I am referring to is Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. This movie has made ripples all across the globe due to its heart-wrenching tale, a saga of a mother separated from her kids at a very young age.
Rani Mukerji plays the character of Debika Chatterjee. The movie released in the theatres on the 17th March. Produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the movie is gearing up for its OTT release.
The movie will be available on Netflix at the beginning of May for viewers to watch. The movie is based on the experiences of an Indian couple who had their children taken away from them by the Norwegian childcare system in 2011.
As of now, the movie is doing well at the box office and has managed to recover the cost of making the film. The movie has been shot in Estonia and stars Rani Mukherji along with Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya.
