The Mumbai 26/11 attack is a series based on the terror strikes that occurred in the city a few years ago. Since the first news about the series had come up, the viewers have been higly-awaited to watch the series, and now taking to his Twittter handle, Konkona Sensharma confirmed the release date and unveiled a new poster of Mumbai Diaries 26/11. From September 9, it will be available on the OTT platform in over 240 countries and territories.
Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, and Shreya Dhanwanthary, among others, can be seen in the poster shared by Konkona Sensharma. Everyone has a serious expression on their faces, and in the background the Taj Hotel can be seen burning. The series is a fictional drama set against the backdrop of the terrorist attack which took place on November 26, 2008. The series will also to pay tribute and respect to all the frontline heroes. Mumbai Diaries 26/11 features Konkona Sensharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi in pivotal roles. Sharing the poster on Twitter, Konkona stated, “This is a story of the heroes in white, who stayed united and courageous, to save lives! #MumbaiDiariesOnPrime, New Series, September 9 on.”
Last year it marked the 12th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks in November, and on that day Amazon Prime Video released the first look of series Mumbai Diaries 26/11. Nikkhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves directed the series, wherein it is produced by Emmay Entertainment. The series will release on Amazon Prime video.
