Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar recently tied the knot and the couple looked absolutely gorgeous on their wedding day. The coupled decided to twin for their first public appearance post wedding. Farhan and Shibani color co-ordinated in peach for the first look post marriage.
Farhan wore a peach kurta and bundi with chudidaar from everyone’s favorite Sabyasachi and Shibani looked elegant in a saree by Anamika Khanna. Shibani picked studded jewellery to complete the look.
The couple tied the knot in Kandala in the presence of family and few Bollywood celebs Hrithik Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty, Shankar Mahadevan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Anusha Dandekar, Amrita Arora, and others.
“They wanted to keep it as basic and simple as possible. The guests have also been asked to wear easy colours like pastels and whites for the wedding. There won’t be a nikah or a Marathi wedding. Instead, they have chosen to make it an intimate vow ceremony. Both have written down their vows which they will read out on the main wedding day, which is February 19.”, as per news on Indiatoday
Farhan Akhtar started his Bollywood career as a filmmaker, is best-known for directing movies like Dil Chahta Hai, the Don series, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Lakshya. He made his acting debut with Rock On!!. Farhan is well known for his performances in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do and The Sky Is Pink.
Shibani Dandekar was one of the popular hosts of Indian Premiere League. She also participated in reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
