Kadak Singh alias AK Shrivastav, is a high-ranking officer. As shown in the beginning, it seems he tried to commit suicide while in office and the result of which is, he has lost his memory.
His daughter Sakshi, comes to visit him and takes him back memory lane. A small family, the mother had passed away when the children were very young and the son, Adi, at a very young age has gotten into drugs. He has a relationship with Naina, a literature teacher and the kids don’t like it. The story revolves around a financial scam, where in the true culprit needs to be found.
As the movie progresses, it seems the dots join up to Kadak Singh being the culprit but those who know him, know this does not hold true. Kadak Singh, is the name his children have given him as he became a distant father after the early demise of his wife.
Sakshi and Arjun, (his junior), dig deeper to find the person behind the scam. Its an interesting plot, keeps you engaged. I love the scene between Pankaj and Naina, where they talk about the basis of the relationship- for one its need, for the other its pain, a wonderful open dialogue between two mature adults.
A good suspense, great acting and Pankaj Tripathi shines in the role. Must watch it on ZEE5.
