The cast of the original K-drama ‘Weak Hero’ has been announced. Park Ji Hoon, Choi Hyun Wook, and Hong Kyung will play the leads.
According to Wavve, the primary cast of ‘Weak Hero’ includes Park Ji Hoon, Choi Hyun Wook, and Hong Kyung. Wavve is a 2019 Korean Android app that features audio visual material.
The original drama is a strong action drama about a weak youngster who battles violence both inside and outside of school due to his quick reactions and analysis abilities. The drama is based on a Naver webtoon that already has a fanbase.
Park Ji Hoon will portray the main character, Yeon Si Eun, who utilises his wits and tools to develop new fighting techniques in order to confront violence both within and outside of his school. He will be regarded as a new hero avatar. Yeon Si Eun is an outsider who is solely interested in education, but as the narrative progresses, he meets Suho and Beam Seok and something more significant than studying happens.
Choi Hyun Wook will play Ahn Suho, an honest and free man. Suho has little interest in school other than graduating without absences, which he promised his grandma. He does, however, encounter Si Eun and Beom Seok, with whom he forms a bond.
Hong Kyung, who recently won Rookie of the Year at the Baeksang Arts Awards for the film ‘Innocence,’ will play Oh Beom Seok. Wavve has secured the exclusive distribution rights to ‘Weak Hero,’ which is set to be published in the second half of 2022.
