The date 21st of February, is the D-DAY for Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani to tie the knot. The wedding is set to take place in ITC Grand in South Goa.
A three-day wedding celebration is planned, kickstarting from the 19th February. A close source said, “No physical invites have been sent by the couple and their family. Also, no crackers will be burst at any point.” Another niche thing happening is that the couple has got people who will map the carbon footprints. We are told, “These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during the couple’s wedding ceremonies. They will then tell them how many trees are needed to be planted, in accordance with the footprint. It’s a unique step taken definitely. The couple will themselves plant it, either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.”
They have shortlisted three designers to look suave on their special day. Sources confirm, “Jackky and Rakul are keeping it very intimate in terms of the functions, but the one area they want to put their best foot forward in is how they look on the best day of their lives. The elegance of a Sabyasachi creation, the timeless designs of Manish Malhotra or a magnificent Tarun Tahiliani ensemble- they are finalizing one.”
