Actor Ram Kapoor’s father Anil Kapoor passed away at the age of 74 on Monday, April 12 as he was battling with cancer. He was a known businessman.
Gautami Kapoor, wife of Ram Kapoor, took to her Instagram handle on Thursday and mourned the loss of her Father-in-law in an emotional note and she captioned the post as, “Dad… you live in our hearts forever… RIP… to be the strongest, toughest man I ever knew.. love you.”
Earlier, Ram Kapoor shared Amul’s tribute on his Instagram handle which was read as, “You will always be part of our Famuly. Anil Kapoor (Billy) 1947-2021.” In the picture, an Amul girl is sitting next to Anil Kapoor, in his office. He captioned it as, “Truly speechless at the tribute that Amul has made for my father. You were a true legend dad. I miss you so much. Rest in peace.”
Amul was a client of Anil Kapoor’s firm for over 30 years. It was him who gave the tagline to Amul as ‘Taste of India’. Anil Kapoor was fondly known as ‘Billy’ and was a chairperson of advertising agency FCB Ulka.
On the work front, Ram Kapoor and Gautami rose to fame from the television show ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’. Ram Kapoor is a known face in Bollywood and in Television industry as well. He was seen in films like Student of the Year, Shaadi Ke Side effects, Karthik Calling Karthik, Baar Baar Dekho.
Apart from his big screen work, he was a part of daily soaps such as Kasamh Se, Kyunki… Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Whereas, Gautami went to feature in shows such as Lipstick, Kyunki… Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi among others.
