Vivian Dsena, who last appeared on screen as Harman in Rashmi Sharma’s Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, is poised to return to television after an almost two-year hiatus. He’s been cast as the male lead in Rashmi’s upcoming film. According to reports, the programme would be based on the popular film Kabir Singh, which featured Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. We’ve learned that Eisha Singh of Ishq Subhan Allah has been cast alongside him in the film.

“Vivian’s attitude and demeanor fit the bill perfectly for the part of the male protagonist, whose character will be like Shahid’s in Kabir Singh,” a source close to the production said. Eisha is perfect for the role of the female protagonist since she looks the part. On the programme, she will portray a calm and soft-spoken young lady. The protagonist is a modest and timid young lady.”

We were unable to reach Vivian and Eisha for comment despite numerous attempts.

Eisha’s character in the new programme is not the same as the one she played in Ishq Subhan Allah, which made her famous. Vivian has decided to participate in the show because of the premise. He was supposed to reprise his role of Harman in Shakti – Astitiva Ke Ehsaas Ki with Rubina Dilaik earlier this year. The contract between the producers and the actor, however, fell through. Vivian reportedly dropped out of the programme due to creative disagreements. Cezanne Khan was cast as Harman by the producers.

During a previous interview with BT, Cezanne said of unavoidable parallels to the original Harman (Vivian), “Every performer has a distinct flair.” I haven’t seen any of the prior episodes of the show and am starting from scratch. I’m sure Vivian did well since he’s a talented actor. But I’m going to add something new to the programme, and I’m hoping people will enjoy it. I don’t care about ratings or comparisons because else I won’t be able to focus on my work.”
