Salman Khan is truly appreciative of Kiran Rao’s venture ‘Laapataa Ladies’.
He took to X and wrote, “Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah (wow) Kiran. I really enjoyed it and so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director. Kab kaam karogi mere saath (when will you work with me)?” However, Kiran Rao’s debut venture was ‘Dhobi Ghat’, and the internet users quickly corrected Salman Khan.
Fans retorted, “Bro u literally attended the function for her directorial debut dhobi ghat 14 years ago.”
Set in early 2000, the film is about two young brides who get separated during a train journey and what happens when the police inspector takes it upon himself to investigate the matter. The film was produced by Aamir Khan Productions in association with Kindling Productions. The movie released on the 1st March and has been highly appreciated.
