The trailor of Sanya Malhotra upcoming movie Pagglait has been released on Tuesday (March 16). The movie is said to be released on Netflix. The teaser of this movie was released on Sanya’s birthday last month.
Sharing the trailor on her Instagram the actress wrote, “Pagglait on Netflix, Iss tarah ke family events bhi hote hai. Pagglait, premieres 26th March, only on @netflix_in.
In the trailor the actress plays a role of a young widow who recently lost her husband. But even after that she tries to build her identity which gives rise to some hilarious events as her family members are trying to control her. “When women become wise, the world calls them mad”, the trailer concluded with one of her dialogues.
Talking about the movie, Sanya previously said, “So thrilled to announce this film which is very close to my heart on my special day. I essay the role of Sandhya, a character very different from what I have previously portrayed on-screen. My Pagglait journey was Pagglait indeed- and I can’t wait for the world to witness this unique story very soon.”
The star cast of Pagglait includes Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha, Sayani Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Natasha Rastogi, Rajesh Tailang, Shruti Sharma, Jameel Khan, Meghna Malik to name a few.
Sanya Malhotra made her debut from the movie Dangal in 2016 also starring Aamir Khan. The actress was also seen in Badhaai Ho (2018), both of which rank among the highest grossing films. She was also seen in the biopic Shakuntala Devi (2020) and the dark comedy Ludo (2020).
The actress will also be seen in the upcoming movie, “Love Hostel” directed by Shanker Raman.
