After a successful year of two blockbuster films, the King of Khans, as he is seldom called, treated his fans to his third film of the year ‘Dunki’. This movie marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.
The movie is set to hit the screens on 22nd December, and is backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The movie is supposed to be a comedy.
SRK will be seen as Hardy in the film that is based on illegal immigration practices that Indians choose to enter countries like UK, USA and Canada. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani, the movie seems all fun, emotion, heart and laughter.
Shah Rukh said, “A story of simple and real people trying to fulfill their dreams and desires. Of friendship, love, being together…of being in a relationship called home! The teaser begins with a group of men and women dressed in black, crossing a desert while a sharp shooter has a mark on their backs. A shot is fired taking us back to the time where it all began, a bunch of friends aspiring to work in London someday. It also has a patriotic angle.
The movie will clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire at the box office.
