A source told a leading daily, “Shefali has got into the restaurant business. She is very passionate about it. In fact, her first venture ‘Jalsa’ is opening tonight in Ahmedabad The restaurant will be full of fun-filled activities like games, dandiya among other things. It has been done up in a huge space. The food will be vegetarian–Asian, Mexican, Mediterranean, Japanese, and Continental”.
It was then that Shefali was contacted and she confirmed that it was indeed true. said, “I am a foodie. I have always believed life is a celebration. I love hosting people and decorating dining spaces. Plus, I am a foodie. So it all added up and everything fell in place. It took me less than a month to do up the place. My sister Neha has been in the hospitality business and she’s also in this”.
“It’s a place where anyone can go and literally enjoy. ‘Jalsa’ is going to be an experience of joy. It’s very spacious- 7000 sq feet,” Shefali added.
She was also asked if she would have the time to visit the restaurant very often and she replied with, “No plan, no schedule. But I will be going there as much as I can,” Shefali concluded.”
