After the tragic death of Sidharth Shukla on Thursday, the whole entertainment world was left on the state of shock. Many of the late actor’s co-stars, artists, and celebrities have sent sincere tributes to him. And now, according to India Today, the actor’s funeral will take place today at 12 p.m. in Oshiwara, Mumbai.
According to sources, the actor would be cremated at Oshiwara, rather than the Brahma Kumaris due to a lack of permission, where it was originally planned. The funeral will now take place in Oshiwara, once the Cooper Hospital officials hand over his mortal remains to his family.
The Bigg Boss 13 winner died of a heart attack, although a precise cause of death has still to be determined, as a post mortem was performed on Thursday at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. According to a PTI report, the actor was already dead before he was taken to Cooper Hospital on Thursday morning.
Sidharth Shukla’s close friends rushed to the hospital after hearing the news and afterwards went to his home to express their condolences to his family. Varun Dhawan, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Mahajan, Rashami Desai, Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar, and others were in tears as they paid their respects to the late actor on Thursday. The post-mortem report of the late actor is expected today.
The actor was best known for his role in serial Balika Vadhu, and as a Bigg Boss 13 winner. As a supporting actor, he made his Bollywood debut in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Sidharth was most recently seen in Dance Deewane 3 and Bigg Boss OTT. Sidharth Shukla last appeared in public at the Mumbai airport last month, where he came to receive his mother, and a few other relatives. He was survived by his mother and two sisters.
