Her agency, MSTeam Entertainment released a statement regarding Son Ye Jin’s next role. They confirmed that she is all set to star in JTBC’s drama ‘39’. They also revealed that this will be her return to JTBC after three whole years. She last worked with JTBC in ‘Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food.’
The story of ‘39’ revolves around the daily lives of 3 friends who are about to turn 40. The drama will have 12 episodes which will show how the 3 friends go about and find love in their lives. Son Ye Jin will be seen in the role of Cha Mi Jo. An almost 40 years old woman who grew up extremely rich and now works as a head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam.
Jeon Mi Do, Ahn So Hee, Yeon Woo Jin, and Lee Moo Saeng are some other actors who are in talks to star in the drama. The shooting for the drama will reportedly begin in August.
