Sonam and her husband, Anand Ahuja, are expecting their first child in 2022. The actor attended a baby shower in London on Wednesday. Sonam and her guests took to social media to post photos and videos from the party. Sonam’s father, actor Anil Kapoor, provided her parenting advice in a media interview.
Along with stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, Anil is promoting his forthcoming flick JuggJugg Jeeyo. When questioned about her daughter Sonam’s pregnancy during the film’s marketing, the actor said that he didn’t want Sonam to be an overprotective mother.
According to Anil, “When I found out (about Sonam’s pregnancy), I was both emotional and overjoyed. It’s a wonderful thing. Moms these days are a touch too protective of their children. When I hear things from my wife, I don’t think you should be overly careful.”
Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Sonam’s brother, asked seclusion for his sister throughout her pregnancy in an interview with India Today in April. “I believe it’s good that everyone wants to know about her,” he remarked, “since Sonam is such a huge personality.” As a result, it’s understandable that everyone wants to share their joy. Sonam revealed her pregnancy in March by posting a photo of herself and Anand on Instagram.
